Noah's Desert Journey by AlvinHew Noah's Desert Journey by AlvinHew
This is an illustration I painted for the Flurry the Bear novel series. It depicts a scene from one of the stories.

Nice ambiance and I like the shape of this, how is it placed into the novel?
Just a small hint, do you ever apply sharpen filter in the end? I think it can give a bit more liveliness to it. ^^

I normally don't apply the sharpen filter.  If I want to make it sharper, I usually just paint it sharper.  And for this piece in particular, it was my intention to give it a softer feel.

This image isn't placed in the novel, but will be used on the website, as well as for promotional purposes.

Oh, I get it. The soft painting gives it a "dreamy" atmosphere, which sorta fits the universe of Flurry. x)

For those that may be curious, it's the city of Gargarin and takes place in book #3 "The Throne of Frost". :)

A journey to the City of Brass?  He's too cute to take one damage though!

Such a soft feeling picture, it's like a vision from a dream.
